Victor Avevor, Chief Executive Officer
Victor has worked in Ghana’s capital markets in the last 16 years and has experience in investment management, securities trading, capital raising & financial technology. He manages over GHs150m across provident, pension and private wealth funds and specialized funds. Victor is certified by the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI), UK in Wealth Management and Investments. He holds a first degree from the University of Ghana, Legon (Psychology, Philosophy), Securities industry certification from Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) and is a licensed GSE Securities Dealer.
Graciella Quaye, Chief Marketing And Sales Manager
An experienced wealth advisor with over ten (10) years professional experience. She started her career at SEM Capital Management Ltd now SEM Capital Advisors. Prior to this, she worked with National Insurance Commission’s Supervision, Finance and Administration Team. At SEM, she rose to become the Head of Private Wealth Management where she managed the firm’s portfolio of High Net Worth and Retail Clients. She holds an Executive MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana Business School, an Executive Certificate in Marketing & Strategic Communications from the Logos Graduate School and another Executive Certificate in Marketing Management from GIMPA. Grace also holds the securities industry certification from the GSE and is currently pursuing a PHD in Marketing. She regularly lectures various finance and capital market related courses at the Ghana Stock Exchange.
Benjamin Ewusie, Chief Investment Officer
Benjamin has completed CFA Level 2 programme with proven portfolio management experience in the financial services industry spanning over 10 years. He brings a wealth of knowledge and insight in fund management from his previous roles with IGS Financial Services Limited, Barclays Bank of Ghana and Adehyeman Savings and Loans. Benjamin who joined us from IGS, having risen to the position of Deputy Manager, Client Relations, will lead the team in development and evaluation of investment strategies and policies and provide oversight and management of investment programs. At IGS, he also held the role of Regional Manager, where he led the Greater Accra business of the firm to become the second largest by growing AUM from under GHS 1million to GHS 86million. He holds a first degree in Political Science from the University of Ghana, Legon and the Securities Industry Certificate from the Ghana Stock Exchange.
Derek Naawu, Chief Financial Officer
Derek is a professionally trained, versatile and self-motivated finance professional with extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of financial accounting and reporting, corporate finance, budget management, internal audit, payroll administration and tax compliance. Previously, he served as Head of Accounts at KMK Entertainment Limited for six years. As Chief Financial Officer of AKOA group, Derek coordinated the financial activities across the entire business entities.
Derek has also worked as a Management Consultant for Virtual Global Entertainment and as an Accounts Officer for Shadrack Enterprise. Derek is a Chartered member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He has passed level one of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.
Winifred Frimpong - Manso, Compliance Officer
As Head of Compliance, Winnie is in charge of ensuring our compliance with industry laws, regulations and directives in our efforts to offer innovative services, products and channels to our customers. She is an experienced capital markets professional with over seven (7) years industry experience. She previously worked with Star Asset Management Ltd as an investment manager and later at Fincap Securities Limited as compliance officer. Winifred holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management option from Central University, and is studying for a Master’s degree in Funds and Portfolio Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
Ebenezer Mensah Manarh, Finance Manager
Ebenezer Mensah Manarh is the Head of Finance for Ashfield Investment Managers and a chartered accountant with over 13 years' working experience in the financial services industry. He has worked in various capacities across various companies and industries in Ghana Including IGS Financial Services Limited, where he is responsible for the financial reporting, Tax compliance and planning of the company. Prior to IGS Financial Services, Ebenezer worked as a Senior Credit Officer of DG Capital Microfinance Ltd where he was responsible for the management of all the branch network of the company and the supervision of the reporting framework of the company. He was the Branch Manager for Afro-Arab Microfinance Company Limited which he helped to increase their clientele base and expand their business by opening a new branch. Ebenezer is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana and has a bachelor's degree from the University of Professional Studies, Ghana and a certified FMVA holder from the Corporate Finance Institute. Ebenezer has been the head of finance since October 2022 and in charge of our clients' payments, financial reporting and Tax compliance.
Nana Okyir Baidoo, Associate, Specialised Funds
Nana is an agribusiness, finance and investment professional with extensive experience across multiple industries. His past roles include Head of Investment Banking for Fincap Securities Ltd, and Agribusiness Finance and Investment Specialist at IESO Agribusiness Consult. He also has extensive experience working in the agribusiness industry including roles as Director of Operations at Esoko Limited and Financial Planning and Analysis Manager with Ghana Nuts Group. Aside these Nana’s consulting experience also includes numerous project management roles with international organizations such as GIZ, USAID and Mastercard Foundation where held roles such as Finance Expert on the GIZ sponsored C40 Cities Project in Ghana, conducting feasibility studies on improved waste collection and establishment of a compost plant for the City of Accra, Agriculture/Agribusiness Coordinator on the GEA Mastercard Foundation Business in a Box Project and as Ghana Partnerships Specialist in the UNDP Global Office on the Nature Transitions Support Program. Nana has a master’s degree in finance and is set to complete a PhD in Agribusiness from the University of Ghana.
Yaw Benneh-Amponsah, CIO – Origen Private Debt Fund
Yaw was the CEO of Merson Group. Prior to his role at Merson Group, Yaw served as CFO of Geodrill Limited, a position he held for 10 years. During this time, Geodrill’s revenues grew by over 26 times. Yaw was a co-founder of Azumah Resources Limited and Castle Minerals Limited, both of which listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Yaw was the lead local consultant on the listing of Geodrill Limited on the Toronto Stock Exchange in 2010. He has consulted on several projects with an aggregate value of over US$1 billion across several sectors. At Merson, he has also been involved in the founding, management, and growth of businesses in construction, property, financial services, human resource management and agribusiness. Yaw holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Banking and Finance) from the University of Ghana Business School, a PGDip Financial Strategy from Said Business School, Oxford University, UK, and the Ghana Securities Industry Certificate.
